Control Plant Upgrade and Expansion, Arlington, VA

PEER is providing engineering and management support for the planned upgrades and expansion to the Arlington WPCP.  PEER’s tasks include:

  • updating the assessment management system (MP2) to track spare parts, preventative maintenance schedules, trouble-shooting guides, etc

  • developing schedules of equipment from process diagrams, vendor submittals.

  • developing processes, version control and status update reports to streamline data uploads, eliminate duplicate entries, and providing completion update information to client.

PEER also provided support for training activities, covering 18 separate modules of system and equipment training over a 10-week period.  The training schedule was optimized to accommodate eight separate sessions for operations personnel (four sessions for each of the two day and night operator shifts) and multiple sessions for the maintenance personnel (mechanical, electrical and instrumentation teams).
