Engineering Design for the MWRA North Dorchester Bay Reserved Channel CSO Facility |

PEER Consultants is working as a subcontractor to Metcalf & Eddy, Inc. in the provision of engineering design services and construction administration services for the North Dorchester bay and Reserved Channel Consolidation Conduits and the Reserved Channel CSO facility. The project components to be designed and constructed include approximately 12,000 feet of 11-foot diameter consolidation conduit for North Dorchester Bay and approximately 3,300 feet of 8-foot diameter consolidation conduit for the Reserved Channel to eliminate combined sewer outfalls, drop shafts, equipment shafts, mining shafts, and odor control facilities. PEER provided services in the areas of hazardous materials identification and remediation/removal, public relations and communication, project permitting requirements, detailed design of the structures, CADD services, preparation of contract plans, specifications and cost estimates for construction.
