And where are we working in the world now? (continued)

The iEEECO™ methodology is proven.  Completed iEEECO™ projects in shanty towns and black townships demonstrate:

The Witsand iEEECO™ Human Settlement in Cape Town fully demonstrates the application of this methodology.  This project speaks volumes to what can be accomplished visibly and with few words.  In recognition being selected as an example of a Flagship Program, the iEEECO™ team, at the invitation of the Department of Energy, delivered a formal presentation and panel discussion at the climate conference (COP 17).  In addition to participating in a sanctioned COP 17 event, the iEEECO™ team convened its own10-day stakeholder engagement workshop as a side event to the climate conference.    The purposes of this side event was to give the iEEECO™ team the opportunity to be a part of these climate deliberations and prepare us for our next initiative –the commercial scale delivery of iEEECO™ projects in human settlements throughout South Africa.  We seek government support as we move forward with this very large undertaking.  We seek to support government by implementing a program to upgrade, retrofit and/or build sustainable iEEECO™ human settlements for one million of the most climate vulnerable, households over the next 10 years.

Photos on the following page show the Witsand Human Settlement in its Phase II development.  Note the presence of solar thermal water heating on the roofs and the piloting of hybrid (wind and PV) systems for power generation for those homes not grid connected.

Please come back and visit us again to see where we are in the world and what we are doing.
