PEER Consultants, P.C. is contracted by the South Florida Water Management District to provide quality assurance services for the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan’s (CERP) Quality Assurance Oversight Team (QAOT). PEER is tasked with assisting the QAOT in various quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) measures used to generate legally defensible and quality data and provide consistency and comparability in water and ecological data collection. Tasks include review of CERP documents such as statements of work, monitoring plans, and laboratory and field audit reports and verifying compliance with various federal, state, local and program regulations; review of program data management, inventories and quality assessments; coordinating laboratory performance evaluations; participation in monthly QAOT meetings and sub-team meetings; and generation of the biennial CERP Quality Assessment Report (QAR) and other CERP-related reports.
