Current Job Opportunities

The Director of Environmental Services is responsible for hazardous site investigations, design and remediation; emergency response; and other environmental services for the company.  Environmental services include Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Studies (EISs) under the National Environmental Policy Act and Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs legislated by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, as amended (CERCLA).  The Director provides technical and administrative supervision to assure that the technical, administrative, human resources and schedules are met within the framework of established corporate policy and in accordance with applicable professional standards, design control procedures, and generally accepted engineering practices. Responsibilities also include marketing and business development and profitability of projects under his/her supervision.

BS degree, MS preferred, in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 10-15 years experience in water and wastewater planning, design and construction management.  PE required.  Demonstrated project management experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, large and small diameter water transmission and sanitary and storm sewers, utility rehabilitation, and site remediation.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Position location in DC, MD.  Salary commensurate with education and experience.

The Administrative Manager is the principal administrative advisor to the President and CEO with the exclusive corporate responsibility for directing all of the administrative functions of the company in accordance with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company objectives and policies. The finance department is part of the administrative division and as such, the Administrative Manager has responsibility for overseeing and reviewing the fiscal functions of the company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, other regulatory and advisory organizations, and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the professional services industry.
