Director of Water and Wastewater Services

VA, DC, MD

Bachelor of Science in engineering or a Bachelor of Engineering is required. A Master of Science in engineering is desirable. Professional engineering registration in a U.S. state or jurisdiction and the ability to obtain registration in other jurisdictions as required.

A minimum of 10 years experience in a broad range of engineering activities including planning, design (conceptual through final), construction inspection/oversight, operation and maintenance and at least five years at the project or senior engineering level managing complex environmental projects. A thorough knowledge of civil and environmental engineering with particular emphasis in water supply, treatment and distribution; wastewater collection, treatment and disposal; and stormwater collection and treatment. A thorough knowledge of federal and state environmental laws, regulations and policies. A thorough knowledge of company technical, administrative and management procedures. Good management and administrative skills. Good verbal and writing skills. Salary commensurate with education and experience. Position location in VA, DC, MD.

Senior Project
Manager

VA, DC, MD

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited college or university is required. A master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum ten (10) years demonstrated project management experience managing multiple/ complex environmental projects related to planning, project analysis and feasibility, and design. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Otherwise, must be on track to obtain a PE license within three (3) years. Knowledge of civil and environmental engineering with particular emphasis on water supply, treatment and distribution; wastewater collection, treatment and disposal/reuse; and stormwater collection, treatment and stormwater management. Good management and administrative skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate well in both oral and written communications. Position location in VA, DC, MD. Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Business Development Manager

VA, DC, MD

MS degree in marketing, business development and demonstrated experience in business development and outside marketing for engineering and related technology services companies.

5 - 10 years of experience in client development, proposal implementation and sales presentations. Knowledge of both government and commercial procurement practices. Strong prospecting and closing skills. Demonstrated ability to prepare winning proposals. An existing, trusted network of contacts both in the government and private sector preferred. Must have a current valid driver’s license as well as an acceptable driving record, and ability to travel outside of the US. Good multitasking, management and administrative skills. Independent self-starter with effective negotiation and relationship management skills.
